This gorgeous destination wedding shoot was a fun fashion frenzy in North Carolina. I flew out to help long time friend and planner Kandis Harvey of Blue Daphne Events. We had a blast creating this fun shoot. Surrounded by pure elegance the venue is a destination to experience for couples and guests. The lavish retreat sits on the sprawling 80 acres of dreamy lawns. The flower gardens boast an impeccably decorated mansion in the heart of La Grange, North Carolina. The new venue set the romantic tone for this shoot, showcasing elegant fountains. A Statue of David by Michelangelo replica, mature Oak and Japanese Maple trees, and picturesque brick walls.
This beautifully styled wedding shoot is a testament to the venue’s versatility and elegance. It kicked off its highly anticipated April 2023 Grand Opening. It was fun to photograph the models while a grand opening party was going on. Dress designer Sherri Hill is to credit for this unique take on tradition. Kynsley Bridal Exclusive knew the assignment when the shoot brief called for a gown and veil inspired by the English Victorian period. Queen Victoria influenced the world of fashion with her puff sleeves. Princess Diana’s wedding dress was also a in 1980. We wanted to take an old English fashion statement and modernize it with the clean lines of a trumpet-style dress. Whille romancing it with sheer puff sleeves (Sincerity by Justin Alexander), and all parties delivered 10-fold in this
exquisite outfit.
