This incredible gay wedding at the San Francisco Fairmont was an opulent dazzling wedding extravaganza! After a 3 time postponement due to COVID, Robbie & Tim finally got to celebrate their wedding. It turned out the way they wanted it at the lavish Fairmont in San Francisco. It was a wedding celebration incorporating classic traditions from Robbie’s Jewish faith and Tim’s Korean heritage. The two were pronounced husband and husband witnessed by their friends and family in exquisite fashion at the gorgeous hotel. It was hard not to fall in love with these two gentleman. They exuded style, grace and a gratitude unlike I have ever seen towards all their loved ones and vendors. Robbie and Tim were pure love and their admiration for one another really showed throughout their day.
Dressed in matching Fendi couture suits and shoes, these two men were stylishly dressed to impress from head to toe. From the San Francisco city skyline to the gorgeous table settings, everything fit together with a harmoniously. The elegance that brought their wedding details together in an opulent manner was stunning. Each detail was planned to perfection and executed to a tee! Our favorite wedding planner Mandy Scott of Mandy Scott Events kept the timeline of the day flowing perfectly.
Having a first look is such an intimate moment. The couple decided to share their first look on their hotel room balcony. The view overlooked the San Francisco City skyline. After the first look, we followed up with couples portraits with their adorable little pup Noona. Noon was dressed a classic Korean Hanbok.
Cocktail hour was kicked off by circus performers. They indulged the guests in a fantasy world of stilt walkers, and hand stands. Guests were greeted and chaperoned by “The Glamazon woman” on stilts. She directed people to the rooftop garden where cocktail hour and ceremony was held. In the courtyard guests were offered a glass of champagne by a girl in a full champagne skirt. Everyone enjoyed mingling with a pre-ceremony champagne delight and were accompanied by live string trio entertainment. A live contortionist pretzeled in and out of poses performing with excitement to the to the pre celebratory event. A live aerialist performed pole acrobatics on a half moon sphere.
Robbie and Tim had an intimate traditional Ketubah signing. The signing was held in a private room witnessed by just a few of their friends and family. The two were granted blessings and prayers by their Rabbi and pronounced officially as husband and husband.
Part two of their wedding ceremony proceeded out in the garden. Tim and Robbie exchanged vows and rings under a beautiful floral chuppah. The Chuppah was decorated in classic color tones of blush, white and antique roses. Florals nested in lush greenery designed so beautifully by florist Heather Cassady of Wish Social Events. Guests were moved to tears witnessing the the final pronouncement and showered the couple with clapping and cheers of love.
It was clear that Robbie and Tim were surrounded by positive energy. Everyone that attended the soirée was brought to tears. The couple really wanted to give their guests the party with entertainment that went on throughout the night!
The reception was held in the Gold Ballroom that sparkled with decadents all around. Ornate gold leaf lined walls filled the opulent room. The authentic old world style created a turn of the century french provincial detailing. The room was decorated with hand painted art which made you feel like you were in a painting. Filled with a soft floral color pallet were tables that defined class with a touch of glam. Chandelier lined ceilings coupled with the dimmed wall scones and tall candle votives invoked the old an exquisite romantic setting.
Robbie and Tim’s first slow dance was lyrical and beautiful in their Fendi suits. After dinner the couple entered the room in a Versace street clothes for their second dance. They stepped it up with choreographed Hip Hop moves that brought everyone to their feet.
A show to rival Saturday night in the Castro of San Francisco with money guns and dollar bills. Spectacular gowns were worn by drag artists that entered the room to entertain the night with a superb drag show!
The couple ended the night with cake cutting and champagne toasting! The wild chair tossing Hora was the final excitement of the evening. Robbie and Tim filled with love described their wedding as “definitely worth the wait”.
