The Old Mission in San Juan Capistrano is said to be a sacred sanctuary for swallows to return to every year. With its gorgeous ruins, Spanish architecture and over 240 years of love stories that have passed through this quiet sanctuary, it is no wonder why so many couples want to be photographed here. The vast space was so incredibly gorgeous with a new photographic opportunity in every corner. We started the afternoon at the Casino in San Clemente which is a stunning place to have a wedding reception. With its gorgeous rock garden that hosts up to 300 guests, it is the perfect place to set up a party with all the important details that go perfectly with the old Spanish style decor. Palm trees surround this beautiful venue keeping it in harmony with the Southern California charm. As a destination photographer, this one is on my list of places I hope to return to over and over again.
